Stall Perlen’s duo Reine De Vega (Lope De Vega) and Nordic (Gleneagles) made it a 1-2 in Sunday’s mile for 3yo’s at Øvrevoll.
Ridden by Jan-Erik Neuroth, Reine De Vega got the better of her stable companion in a falsely run race with a lack of pace.
This was only the third career start for Reine De Vega, who won the Norwegian Criterium in her second and last outing of her juvenile campaign.
She holds and entry for the German 1000 Guineas and the Swedish and Norwegian equivalents as well as the Swedish Derby and Oaks Series.
